Plug-In Hybrid Conversion Kits

Until lately, plug-in kits cost over $10,000. Not anymore! Pacific Electric Vehicles has a Plug-in Prius Kit with 4kwh of energy and comes installed with a two year parts and labor warranty for only $4995.

We are currently installing kits for the Toyota Prius for all models (2001-2010). Gen 1 owners (2001 - 2003) will be happy to know that a special kit has been designed just for you. Kits also available for the new 2010 Prius as well.

The plug-in battery pack gets charged from any 110V outlet in your home or neighborhood. It's as easy as plugging in any electrical appliance. Optional locations for the plug location are on the front or rear bumper (additional charge for front bumper location).

Just plug it in when you get home and within a few hours it will be fully charged and ready for you to go. Don't worry about having to turn anything off; the kit will automatically stop charging when the battery gets full. Just unplug and drive away.

For Gen 2 & 3 cars the kit physically fits under the rear deck out of site in the tool compartment so you still have all the cargo space when you lift up the hatch.
